While Colorado is blessed with beautiful scenery and awe-inspiring mountains, the strata below the surface is filled with minerals and other constituents that often cause radioactivity in water, such as uranium and radium. These water impurities are tasteless and odorless, yet can have a negative health effect over years of exposure. With over 22,000 uranium mines throughout Colorado, this radioactive element is highly prevalent in the mountain areas of our state. Removal of this water impurity is relatively simple although it requires thorough water testing to insure that other impurities, which can conflict with the radioactivity removal, are addressed properly. Our radioactivity removal systems are designed to address the unique water characteristics in Colorado and properly remove the maximum amount of these unsafe water contaminants.
