To help you understand our reference to Green products, the following are our rules for gauging whether a water purification system is Green:
  • The system must be absolutely chemical-free. It cannot require the use of chemicals for daily operation, plus
  • The system must NOT dump harmful (non-naturally occurring) chemicals back into the environment, plus
  • The system may provide for non-electrical operation, or
  • The system may provide for significant improvements in water use

The first two criteria are a must in order for us to consider a water purification system as Green. The remaining two criteria are beneficial, but not required criteria for our assessment to be recognized as a Green system.
